Mary E. Hahn Fellowship

The Mary E. Hahn Fellowship is given to undergraduate students majoring in Greek or Latin or Classical Civilization, to support a study program, participation in archaeological fieldwork, or other appropriate learning activity in Classical Studies requiring travel to the Mediterranean area.

Application Requirements:

Fellowship Proposal for Study or Research: A clear description of your project or subject of study, including a statement of academic objectives and how the two are related (One or two pages).

Travel budget: A brief statement of financial needs as they pertain to your application and to the cost of travel from Minneapolis to destination. Please include amounts from other possible sources. Mary E. Hahn Fellowships will be awarded toward these travel costs (One page or less).

Current transcript: May be unofficial.

Two references: Your recommendations should include brief statements as to your academic performance, preparation to conduct your project, and appropriateness of your project to your major in the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies (Professors or others who know your work best).
