The Robert V. Cram Award

Students majoring in Greek and/or Latin, and who will not have finished their degrees before the 2011-12 school year, are invited to apply for a scholarship honoring the memory of Robert V. Cram, who taught Classics at the University of Minnesota for many years.

The Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies will make one award of $500.

Application deadline: Friday, April 20th, 2012

Application Requirements

  • Statement of personal and academic goals
  • Current transcript: may be unofficial
  • Two references: Names of two teachers, preferably of Greek and/or Latin, who are willing to provide a reference (a letter is not necessary).
