Classics Club

For students with “an interest in and/or a passion for the fantastic, sublime, and quotidian elements of classical languages and culture.” The Classics Club sponsors lectures, discussions, field trips to films and museum exhibitions, and social gatherings.

Honor Societies

CNES sponsors chapters of two national honor societies:

  • Eta Beta Rho: Eligible students in the fourth semester of Hebrew may be nominated by faculty members for membership in the Koph chapter of Eta Beta Rho.
  • Eta Sigma Phi: Eligible students in the fourth semester of Greek or Latin may be nominated by faculty members for membership in the Zeta Sigma chapter of Eta Sigma Phi.
